Flea Market of Sant Jordi

Ever experienced a real Ibicenco flea market? Then find your way to the flea market of Sant Jordi, which is right next to Ibiza Town. The market is held in the grounds of the San Jordi Hipódromo (horse racetrack), which can still be seen beautifully in the cafe from the lovely old photos of horse races and prizewinning cups. Many locals open up their cars and sell any and everything that can be sold: used books, clothing, jewellery and what have you… This market is frequented by locals and is somewhat lesser known to tourists. Live music can be heard here as well, as is the case with many other Ibizan markets. The market is held on Saturday from 9am to 2pm.
